We have all encountered many teachers during our life. Two teachers that had a tremendous impact on my life were Kalu Rinpoche (from 1971 to 1989) and
Thrangu Rinpoche (from 1989 to 2023). Through their generous teachings and valuable one-on-one meetings, they greatly inspired my study and practice of Mahamudra. Just thinking of them brings forth a tremendous amount of joy. Kalu Rinpoche cultivated the ground and Thrangu Rinpoche pushed me out into the world.

I have had the greatest good fortune to have been a guide for an abundance of people. We were able to invigorate each other by studying the dharma, practicing the dharma and then sharing the essence of the dharma with others in our lives. The presence and honesty that everyone brings to our gatherings is truly humbling. At the core of our gatherings has been much lightness and laughter in sharing our humanity. Throughout the years you have been present with lively discussions, helpful suggestions, as well as emotional and financial support. You, as well as my wonderful family and friends, have all contributed to this project graciously. There are too many of you to name individually, therefore, I want you all to know I will always cherish each of you deeply. I present you with a deep bow of utmost gratitude.

To Ken McLeod, who recognized my vision, became an integral part in bringing the project to fruition. His deep clarity for the dharma is invaluable for everyone. I am forever grateful for his amazing generosity. To Jeyan Burns-Oorjitham who has volunteered his technical expertise and love of the dharma, you have my everlasting thank you.
