Verse 18

Look at objects and there is no object: one sees mind;
Look at mind and there is no mind: it is empty of nature;
Look at both of these and dualistic clinging subsides on its own.
May I know sheer clarity, the way mind is.

At this point you have the ability to calm the mind in most of life’s situations. You have thoroughly looked at the mind. The following meditations are pointing you to enhance your skill in being able to recognize your mind and be able to rest in that recognition. These meditations can be done in any order. A suggestion: after these quick meditations, spend time at the end to rest your mind. The placement of the eyes are the same as in the insight meditations, open, looking straight ahead, and soft.
