Verse 22
While beings, by nature, have always been awake,
Not knowing this, they wander in endless samsara.
For the unending struggles of sentient beings
May overwhelming compassion be born in my being.
Meditation
- Be compassionate like the sun shining bright to warm the hearts of all beings.
- Be compassionate like the rain showering blessings on all beings.
- Be compassionate like the sky, endless in its reach.
- Be compassionate like the earth supporting, nourishing and providing for all beings.
- Be compassionate like the wind with a continuous flow of love, joy and kindness for all beings.
- Rest in quiet presence with an open heart and mind.
